Lions Eye Screening
B W Lions Eye Hospital conducts comprehensive and professional on-site screening camps.
The camps are manned by senior ophthalmologists and refractionists.
The eye examination includes detailed vision testing, checking for Refractive errors (Spectacle power), Slit Lamp & Retina Examinations ( detailed under the Corporate & industrial Screening Protocols) and checking for other eye ailments.
In a typical one-day screening, our team can examine upto 100 people (on average).
Check for normal vision (both distance and near),
Refractive Error Check, Squint Examination, Cataract / Glaucoma Detection, Retinal Examination
Check power and prescribe glasses
Evaluation of the ocular anterior segment and adnexa
Evaluation of the ocular posterior segment
Assessment of pupillary responses
Visual field screening
Measurement of intra-ocular pressure (IOP)
ADDITIONAL TESTS IF REQUIRED:
Color vision testing
Schirmer’s Test-to check dry eye
Sac syringing-to diagnose Dacryocystits(Sac block)
Advice on diagnosis and general eye care
For detailed eye checkups, the team requires a LARGE DARK ROOM 20ft in length.
